Hello and welcome Brian!
You have really nice bikes there.
They look a whole lot like mine, a 3800 from svenska cykelfabriken.
Is there a difference between these two models?
Forgive me to ask a stupid question like this but i am at home with a sick kid today, and i have to try to focus on something that is not green and poring from my sons nose.

Hello Bruno, and thank you for the kind words!
Jazzdoktorn, yes the Swedish Solex 3800 Knallert is similar to the 4600, but there are many differences, which I think you will see if you study my website. Your Swedish Solex 3800 Knallert is most similar to the 4600 V1, but the headlight and taillight are different. Also, the Swedish Solex 3800 Knallert has the light switch on the handlebars whereas the 4600 V1 has the switch on the headlight. But the Swedish Solex 3800 Knallert is very different from the 4600 V2 and V3. The 4600 V2 and V3 have 22 mm handlebars, standard facing brake levers, Magura controls, sealed beam headlight, electric horn, ignition on/off switch, brakelights, etc. Also, the 4600 V2/V3 have an extra lighting coil for the brake lights, a flywheel with more powerful magnets, and a larger lighting coil to power the electric horn and large sealed beam headlight.
And as we say, the only stupid question is the one that you don't ask, so please ask as many questions as you'd like.
Solexly, Brian
